Our very personal fashion revolution is called: BIOCOURO
Our leather comes from Portugal and is tanned in a pollutant and metal-free process using only organic materials from garden waste, such as plant matter or wood extracts from various trees. It is a certified, 100% biodegradable natural product. So not just - ecofriendly - but more than that, it can be recycled, as compost or plant fertilizer, and thus meets the requirements of modern circular economy.
For us it offers wonderful comfort, is particularly soft and durable, non-allergenic and can also be worn by allergy sufferers and people with sensitive skin (barefoot).
And, because we always like to be asked, our leather comes from Europe and is not pretreated with a chrome tanning. Specifically, most of the skins come from the area around Portugal, but also from southern Germany and Spain.
Colors, even if you can't believe it, our refined finish is created without any toxic materials, but by artists. Mainly nature-based oils and waxes are applied, metal-free pigments are sprayed on, rolled, pressed, punched or even lovingly hand-painted. You can feel our pride through it, right?
