Our collection is produced in perfectly calculated quantities and in carefully selected family businesses around Porto, in northern Portugal. For us that means: short distances, superb specialists and maximum transparency. We work with a dense network of agents, production managers, material specialists, pattern developers, technicians and artists. All of them are highly motivated to make our collection as sustainable and innovative as possible.

Fair and social co-working
Including all suppliers, two large factories are working at full capacity for our collection... just to give you an idea. Our basis is trust, respect and understanding for each other. Each of our products is created because several people with different skills working together. We think that's worth all the effort and we are happy to pay the price that is reasonable here in Europe.
Sometimes we forget to talk about the people who work for us, here in Germany. The question "what is social and fair" includes our photographers, press representatives, influencers, sales agents, forwarder, assistants and webmasters. And that may also explain the "value" of our products.
We do our best every day to make it a forward-looking, happy and meaningful venture for everyone involved.

Craftsmanship Made in Europe
All around Porto, with it's family-run manufactories, craftsmanship has a long tradition and the knowledge of generations flows into the creation of our collection. From the first to the last step, our shoes, shirts and accessories are made by hand and with a great sensitivity by skilled workers.
Production within the EU not only enables us to have short transport routes and lower CO2 emissions, we are also proud of the close cooperation with our local productions, with whom we are in meaningful contact on a weekly basis.

Recycling and reuse
As players in the fashion industry, we are aware of our responsibility and are constantly looking for optimization. We have always used packaging and labels made from 100% recycled paper. But recycling materials are also used in our products themselves: fibers made from recycled organic cotton or from upcycled marine plastic waste. Our sneaker soles are still made from 70% recycled rubber.
We know PET (polyethylene terephthalate) is made of plastic, but it's very easy to recycle. We hope, just like you, that the production of plastic will soon no longer be necessary. But until then, by using recycled materials, we can help reduce, reuse and recycle natural resources.

CO2 Footprint
By producing in the EU, we keep the transport routes short and therefore also the CO2 emissions low. Our productions and suppliers work together on better solutions for more environmentally friendly materials and production processes. Incidentally, Portugal is one of the pioneers in the shoe industry.

Circular Ecomony
More and more suppliers of components used in shoe production are on the right track. With our leather manufacturer and the vegan alternative, we have real pioneers on board. Our sole manufacturers are also changing to a circular economy.

Certification
We feel safer too, when we see labels. But the truth is, not everything that is ecological, sustainable, environmentally friendly or social and fair is also certified. The process to get there is often long and financially stressful. We have decided to act with common sense and a sense of proportion. We regularly and persistently challenge our suppliers, productions and product managers, that is certain, but we still have to acknowledge: it is a process and we will only meet our high standards step by step.
